Sirens of the City is a very New York book. And that's because I was born in Manhattan, in the 1980s. As an infant I slept in the kitchen of my parents Greenwich Village apartment—because the place was too small for me to have a bedroom and the kitchen was the warmest spot. I saw the Ramones at Roseland when I was 13, and bought my prom dress at Patricia Field's on 8th Street. I was a very New York kid.
Lovely comic. Thanks for sharing. <3
