Fairies, art, and birds of prey

Well, we’ve just returned from a week in Dublin and its outlying areas, and wow, what a magical place! This is why we travel!

People always ask creatives, “Where do you get your ideas?” And that’s a pretty impossible question to answer. But I can tell you, travel is a big part of it for us. It’s easy to get stuck in a routine with work and the pressures of daily life. As soon as you step out of your routine and go somewhere new, see new things, meet new people, your mind opens up.

In Ireland, we took a tour to the countryside, expecting to see the Cliffs of Moher and some nice scenery. But our tour guide walked us through a gorgeous clearing in the woods and told us we were about to enter a fairy fort.

Hmmm…what’s through there??
