Enter the Samurai

Well, we’re starting off with a lie. This is actually the second comic I created, the first having been lost to the sands of time. This is the sequel to my very first comic, called The Samurai. It was very bad.

But a little back story first. When I was either 10 or 11 years old, I was in love with two things: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the NES video game Ninja Gaiden. You can see the very obvious crossover. I wasn’t into mainstream comics, but I knew I loved the format, and I wanted to give it a go. And what better subject matter than ninjas.

I did not draw this when I was 10.
